"I am writing this review to share my experience shipping a 2021 Toyota Tacoma with Navi. I purchase vehicles from out of state fairly regularly for my small contracting business. Usually I stick to regional purchases, but I found a good deal on a truck in Pennsylvania and needed it brought to my yard in Nebraska. The booking process was standard. Since it is a larger truck, the quote took a few extra hours to generate compared to a standard car, but the price they came back with was acceptable for the distance. They gave me a three day window for pickup. The driver arrived on the second day and contacted the dealership directly to arrange loading. The transit time was estimated at 4 to 6 days; the open carrier arrived on day 5. The condition matched the photos the dealer had sent me. There were no surprise fees or delays."

"Spending our summers up north means we prefer having our own family vehicle with us instead of dealing with incredibly expensive rental car rates for three months. The agent who handled our booking was incredibly polite and made sure to explain how the door to door pickup operates in smaller residential areas. The quote was completely transparent and they promised there would be no random fuel adjustments along the way. The delivery driver called us when he was about an hour away. The car was in great shape and all of our gear in the trunk was exactly how we left it. The total cost matched our initial booking receipt exactly with no strange broker surcharges tacked on at the last second. It was an incredibly clean and straightforward process, and we will definitely be booking our return trip with them this autumn."

"Review of transport from Miami to Chicago. I chose to consider Navi Transport first because of price. As I weeded through the many different quotes I received, I spoke to a salesperson at Navi named Troy. My first question to him was based on all the negative reviews you read about transport companies: How can you reassure me that you are different from the rest? Since the price from Navi was lower than most, I asked him directly if I was gonna get a bait and switch up charge. We discussed it in detail, and he made me feel very confident that my experience with Navi was going to be a positive one. Each time I specifically asked to speak with Troy and no one else. The process was very uncomplicated to book and the communication was very clear. My car was picked up very quickly and delivered very quickly without having to pay any additional charges. The driver who picked up my car was very nice and very patient. I watched him load the car and saw that he was being careful. I was not there for the delivery, but my wife was, and she said it was extremely smooth, delivered to the door. The driver called a few hours in advance to let us know when he would be there. He was spot on with his delivery time. I would consider using Navi again without any hesitation."

Reading Reviews
How to read car shipping reviews before you book
Auto transport is a broker-and-carrier business, and that structure explains most of what you'll read in reviews — good and bad. When you book with a broker like Navi, we arrange your shipment through a vetted carrier from our network. The broker sets the quote, confirms insurance, and manages communication; the carrier physically moves the vehicle. Knowing which party a review is actually describing is the first step to reading them accurately.
A few patterns worth knowing as you compare companies:
Pickup windows are ranges, not appointments. The most common source of frustration in any auto transport review is a customer who expected an exact pickup time and got a one-to-three-day window instead. That window is normal — carriers run multi-stop routes and adjust for weather and load order. The reviews above that mention a two- or three-day window landing on day two reflect how the process actually works, not a failure of it. A company that explains the window up front is doing it right.
Price stability at delivery is the real test. The single most-reported complaint across the entire industry is the bait-and-switch: a lowball quote that jumps once the vehicle is booked. This is why so many of the reviews customers leave for Navi specifically call out that the final invoice matched the quote. An all-inclusive, locked price with no upfront payment removes the incentive that drives that complaint elsewhere.
Where the review lives matters as much as what it says. A testimonial on a company's own website is easy to control. That's why the ratings on this page link back to independent, public sources — Google, the BBB, ConsumerAffairs, and Forbes Advisor — where the company can't edit or remove what customers write. Before you book any broker, look them up on at least two of those platforms yourself, and confirm their federal authority on the FMCSA SAFER database. A legitimate broker has an active MC and USDOT number you can verify in seconds.
Navi's numbers are public and checkable — MC# 1646663 and USDOT# 4248916 — alongside 55,697 vehicles shipped across all 50 states, an A+ BBB accreditation, and a #2 Forbes Advisor ranking. We'd rather you verify all of it than take our word for any of it.
What People Say on Reddit
Before booking any car shipping company, a lot of people head to Reddit — subreddits like r/Autotransport, r/cars, and r/moving are full of honest, unfiltered talk about which brokers to trust and which to avoid. That's smart research, so here's the straight answer.
The most-repeated tip across those threads: verify the company's FMCSA license before you pay a deposit. Legitimate brokers have an active MC and USDOT number you can look up in seconds; the companies people warn about usually can't be found in the federal database at all. Navi's numbers — MC# 1646663 and USDOT# 4248916 — are active and public, alongside an A+ BBB accreditation and a #2 Forbes Advisor ranking.
The second thing Reddit users flag is the classic bait-and-switch — a lowball quote that jumps once your car is booked. Navi quotes are all-inclusive and locked: the price you're quoted is the price you pay, which is what reviewers consistently confirm above.
Our advice is the same advice you'll read on Reddit — don't trust any single source, including this page. Cross-check us on the FMCSA SAFER database, look up our reviews on Google and the BBB, and ask us anything before you commit.
